Tip of the week: Now is an excellent time to start playing with game development. The two most popular game engines for development are Unity and Unreal. They both have a robust marketplace to help get you started. Unity is said to be easier to get started on and has a very large number of assets in their store. Unreal recently started giving away free assets every month and also have many that are permanently free. With the free assets alone you would be able to create great looking prototype. Unreal currently has Blueprints which is a visual scripting language. Unity is scheduled to get visual scripting in their 2019.2 release. Learning some programming will help you better appreciate games that come out or give valid criticism. It isn’t easy, but it is fun and a great way to get started programming.
