Tip of the week: Miscreated – While looting you will run into contaminated food and water. As you eat or drink these items you will become irradiated. You are able to use either antirad pills or antirad mushrooms to decrease this radiation. Another option is to purify the water before you drink it. Water collectors allow you to more easily gather water, but if there is a rad storm, the water gets contaminated. You can check for radiation with the Survivotron (A walkie talkie type item you find in the world). If gather meat while hunting, you will need to cook or cure food to prevent poisoning yourself.
