Tip of the week: Elite Dangerous – When flying you run the risk of losing your ship. There is a fee to recover your ship through insurance. If you are running short on funds, you will want to play it safe and do some simple missions that are close to your current location. Once you have enough to cover the insurance you are free to take some risks and not lose the ship you worked so hard for. Once you are flying, you will want to keep your throttle in the blue zone. This is the zone that allows you to maintain maneuverability. If you are needing to get there as soon as possible, you can stay at full throttle until about 7 seconds from the destination, lower it to half of the blue zone in order to not overshoot your objective.
