  Survival Tip: H1Z1 – KotK: Getting the most out of your weapons.. There are some pretty major differences right now with the weapons in H1Z1 – King of the Kill. You will quickly discover that the shotgun has a very limited range and will either be a one shot kill from 2 feet away or a 10 shot kill from 10 to 15 yards. Sometimes it has been found the shotgun will do no damage point blank. There is also a bug where the AK 47 will continue to fire about 200 rounds after death in a very annoying assault on the ears. Also the drop of the AR-15 seems to not be consistent depending on the terrain. One final fun thing to take note of is the revolver having virtually no drop whatsoever. You are able to treat it like a sniper rifle. When a player is hundreds of yards away you just raise it a few pixels.
