Survival Tip: No Man’s Sky – Analyze and upload data on items you find through the world. As you go through the galaxy you will run across marketplaces that will let you buy and sell items and purchase upgrades. Different places will offer varying prices for items very similar to the system Elite Dangerous does. The galactic library will offer you money if you upload that data received from scanning objects. Systems and planets will give you the most credits, but, you will also receive funds from scanning creatures and plants.
