Tip of the week: The Long Dark – Familiarize yourself with the new menu system. They now have a quests menu that gives you tasks to accomplish. Once you complete the task, it moves on in the story. If you find yourself wandering around and using up all of your resources, make sure that you are not missing some small detail. Press “J” on PC to bring up the journal. There are also side quests that you can access to give you additional loot items on the map. Be sure to go through each of the tabs at the top of the menu system. You may find that certain steps need to be made, for instance, when crafting items. It should tell you exactly what is needing to be done from this menu.
