GOTW – Minecraft

Tip of the week: Minecraft – Get obsidian early on to build a portal early on in game. Creating a portal allows you to reach the nether. If you are unable to find a diamond to create a pickaxe you can use lava to form it. Use a bucket to place some  still lava in the location where you want to place the obsidian. Then dump water on the lava to harden it. Use cobblestone or a non flammable block to form the mold of the portal and form the container for the lava.
