Tip of the week: Payday 2 – Hostages can not only give you health if you have the right skills from the mastermind tree, but hostages can also delay the police assault waves by a few seconds. If you hit the “F” key until a police officer submits and kneels, it allows you to convert them to your side. They will follow you around as a human shield. If one of your teammates are in custody the converted police officer can be exchanged for them if no hostages are available.
