Tip of the week: Unturned – This game has a lot of zombies and they seem to be exactly where you are wanting to loot. To navigate in the game and not be instantly slaughtered by zombies you need to crouch. When you crouch walk it greatly reduces the zombie detection range. It allows you to sneak in and out of buildings without being noticed. Press X to crouch and Z to crawl. Also be careful when firing a weapon. It will draw any zombies in the area.
